The team worked for a year and a half to perfect the diamond shaped patterns to exact definition, after which they had to be digitally changed and placed on the timeline doors, and rear fender edge. The diamond patterns were extracted and transferred to a film before being applied to the body. 1600 diamonds were used to recreate the forms all over the body.
The next step was to paint the actual color and remove each diamond after each diamond had been tested and passed as fine. The paint job was sanded, smoothed, retouched, and re- sanded several times during this process. The diamond patterns were blended into the anthracite color gradient by several layers of paint.
" The thought of this project being a reality was thrilling and a dream of mine, I was utterly floored upon delivery, " the owner of the personalized Divo said.
Divo also owns a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse nicknamed " Hellbug" due to its distinctive color scheme. During the 2016 Sun Valley Road Rally, it was notable for reaching 230 mph on an Idaho freeway.
The hypercar was bought for $5. 4 million, and its owner also owns a Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, a Chiron, and a Veyron Vitesse.
