The last time Accra Hearts of won the Ghana Premier League was in 2009.
According to Hearts of Oak fans, it's now or never. Accra Hearts of Oak is leading Kumasi Asante Kotoko with three points but Kumasi Asante Kotoko has a game at hand. If Kumasi Asante Kotoko wins that game, they will be on the same point with Accra Hearts of Oak but Accra Hearts of Oak will lead them with goals.
According to some GPL fans, they wished Accra Hearts of Oak will win the GPL tittle so that they represent Ghana at the CAF Champions League next season. According to them Kumasi Asante Kotoko has disappointed Ghanaians several times in the CAF Champions League. So this is time for Hearts of Oak to represent Ghana at CAF Champions League. Accra Hearts of Oak is well know as the "Continental Champions". And Ghanaians believe that if Hearts of Oak represent Ghana next season at CAF Champions League the title will be brought to Ghana.
