Board Member of Accra hearts of oak Alhaji Akambi believes clubs do betting in other to survive in the premier league season.
Betting had become a major challenge for the football Association as to how to find a way to solve betting issues in the Ghana premier league.
People believes many of the premier league clubs fixed their league matches for betting hence making the premier league unattractive to the corporate world.
However to Alhaji Akambi, he belives Clubs are doing betting in other to survive since there is no enough capital in the premier league.
Ghanaian clubs are engaging in betting to survive because there is no money in the premier league ” he said.
But I think if u are a club and not financially strong, go into partnership with the company ” he added.
Forgetting that, Akanbi and the Hearts of Oak even don’t have any better sponsorship which can cater for the club. But the hidden truth has been said and that’s all.
