Mexico vs El Salvador.
Mexico will look to seal their spot at the World Cup finals when they take on El Salvador at Estadio Azteca in the final group game. El Tri did well to beat Honduras on the road, and, as a result, they are with one foot at the showpiece tournament in Qatar. Both Uriel Antuna and Diego Lainez are pushing for a start, while Premier League ace Raul Jimenez should continue to lead the line for the hosts.
Costa Rica vs USA.
Costa Rica will be aiming to extend their winning run to four games when they take on United States of America in San Jose. Los Ticos have already booked their place in the playoffs, while they have very slim chances of securing automatic qualification for the World Cup finals. Anyhow, the hope dies last, and we are positive that the hosts will leave their hearts on the field in Thursday’s clash.
Jamaica vs Honduras.
Independence Park will host Thursday’s World Cup qualifier between Jamaica and Honduras, the two teams who failed to book their tickets for Qatar. The Reggae Boyz have been underperforming in the qualifiers, with the team recording no more than one win in the process.
Anyhow, they are seen as favourites to beat the rock-bottom side on home soil. West Ham ace Michail Antonio has been omitted, and head coach Paul Hall will continue to rely on local players in the last group game.
