Andy Osei Sarfo, popularly known as Kweku Flick, a hip-hop and hiplife artist has noted that gambling financed his first song titled ‘Awake’.
“In 2019, Appiah my producer was celebrating his birthday so he sent a beat online that everyone should do something with it as a birthday gift”
According to him, he had to go to Appiah the next day to record it but I had no money so he took some from his dad.
Unfortunately, I misplaced the money because my pocket had a hole in it so Appiah had to pay the bills for my transportation and the cost for recording. Appiah told me to pay later, he narrated.
“When I came back home, I staked bet online, paid for the song when I won”.
“After that, i realized that my songs were recognized so I decided to have a team to promote the song,” he added.
