SSNIT requested to pay the directly past credits to retirees
Four word related benefits plans have mutually approached government to guarantee that the Standardized savings and National Protection Trust (SSNIT) paid the "perfect sum" of past credits to retirees.
The plans, known as the Gathering, is comprised of Wellbeing Part Word related Benefits Plan, Ghana Training Administration (GES) Word related Annuity Plan, Legal Help Word related Annuity Plan, and the Fence Ace Trust Word related Annuity Plan.
Mr Isaac Bampoe Addo, Administrator of the Discussion, in an announcement made accessible to the Ghana News Organization (GNA), said on June 10, 2020, the Gathering held a Question and answer session and pronounced that if by 25th June, 2020, steps were not taken to pay suitable past credits other than "the pitiful past credits singularly dictated by SSNIT, the Gathering would leave on a modern activity in solidarity with resigned community workers."
It said on June 22 the National Work Commission (NLC) welcomed the Discussion and different partners including SSNIT for a meeting on July 8, yet on July 6, the Commission delayed the conference until July 29, 2020.
The Discussion communicated the expectation that there would not be further deferment by the Commission and that it would not yield in its endeavors to get equity for retirees who got or going to get past credits from SSNIT.
"Calls from resigned local officials have not stopped and they have been crying thinking about their present quandary. A large portion of them can't stand the cruel degrees of past credits released upon them.
"Without a doubt, they are revealing to us that they are step by step passing on… The goal of this issue must be viewed as a national crisis since it's a real existence and demise issue," the announcement said.
All retirees will be glad to hear this announcement
