One of the main reason why majority of the youths has trooped behind the famous fixthecountry# campaign is their quest and desire for decent and permanent job opportunity. The August 4th fixthecountry# demonstration saw majority of the youth with placards telling the Akufo Addo government to fulfil his job creation promise since majority of the youth are still unemployed despite being graduated from the university.
Though this Akufo Addo government through their NPP communicators has made Ghanaians believe the amount of jobs created in just five years of its reign is unprecedented, citing the likes of planting for food and jibs, NABCO, Youth in afforestation, one district one factory among others. But interestingly, Hopeson Adorye who is a staunch NPP member has finally sincerely stated the otherwise.
Speaking live on Wontumi TV's 'Amamuo My Nsem', a political talk show, the NPP member was bold enough to entreat the youth to be innovative to create something on their own since government alone can not absorb every graduate on the public institutions.
"Ghanaians should know the NPP is a capitalist party and what they know doing best is to create the enabling environment for citizens to be entrepreneurs on their own. Akufo Addo can not do the magic of employing every single Ghanaian. Its never possible not even in the advanced countries", he stated categorically.
He therefore advised those leading the fixthecountry# campaign to be crestive enough to go for bank loans, form companies and employ the youth other than telling Akufo Addo to employ every single Ghanaian.
Do you think this government is being fair with the youth looking at the explanation given by Hopeson Adorye?
