Controller and Accountant-General Department is the full meaning of (CAGD). And CAGD is responsible of Providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports. They also prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
Most of GES teachers in the country sometimes think about the date that they are going to receive their salaries when ever the month is about to end. Some of them debate on the date the salaries may come. Now there is no need for the teachers in the country to think about when and the date their salaries will be pay in every month for the rest of the year. According to the information reaching us, the Controller and Accountant-General Department (CAGD) has come out to release a statement telling the general public when and which date of every month that they are going to pay teacher's salary.
According to the CAGD, they are going to pay public sector and GES teachers salary and wages duly and on time from January to December 2021. They added that this was directed by the Government of Ghana.

The Controller and Accountant-General Department concluded by saying that, it will communicate to the Ministries, Departments, Agencies,. assemblies and respective Banks if there is any change in the above dates.
