The security agencies in Ghana have open their portals for qualified personnel to apply for various positions available. However, it is believed that if you don't have a protocol it will be very difficult to get the job.

The salary structure for The Ghana Police Service and The Prison Service kooks some how attractive. In every job we apply it is advisable we know how much we will be paid, we don't just need but it is the pay we all need as a result, we have made a comprehensive research to get the salaries of these security agencies for now to guide applicants make their decisions.

According to salaryexplorer.com, Police officers in Ghana earns an average salary of Gh¢2,860 each month.

New recruits takes Gh¢1,320 which is the lowest whiles those at the highest stage takes Gh¢4,550 per month.

However you should know that, all salaries at the Police Service are based on the level of qualification and experience in the work. Apart from their basic salaries, they also benefit from accomodation, free transport and several other benefits.

According to survey by ghanascholarship.net, those who works at the Ghana Prison Service earns as low as Ghc¢1,210 per month and as high as Gh¢3,470.

They have an average salary of GH¢2,280 per month.

The qualification starts from WASSCE/SSCE to Degree for the entry level. Those with Degree earns more than those with WASSCE/SSCE certificates.
