Management of the National Service Secretariat has released a total of 110,009 pin codes for prospective national service personnel who are currently in their final year of study in the various tertiary institutions across the country.
In a press release signed by the Deputy Executive Director the National Service Secretariat, Madam Gifty Oware-Aboagye, the Scheme have instructed that, prospective national service personnel should visit the website of the NSS: www.nss.gov.gh to access their PIN Codes with their respective Index Numbers and Date of Birth and proceed to any branch of ADB Bank Ltd to make a payment of GH40.00 for registration.
She also indicated that, the Scheme have introduced the MTN Mobile Money payment platform where students can as well make payments of their registration fee, however, an amount of GH41.00 should be paid using the MTN Mobile Money platform.
The National Service programme is a compulsory one-year service required of all citizens of Ghana who are 18years and above, at the time of deployment. The programme is for all Ghanaian graduates who complete approved tertiary courses regardless of the type of scholarship of courses, and whther or not such courses were pursued in Ghana.
Management of the Scheme have also advised that, all prospective National Service Personnel should complete their enrolment process by Wednesday, 30th of June, 2021.
