The Ghana Immigration Service, in a press release issued yesterday, October 17th, 2021, advises all applicants in the recently announced recruitment exercise, as well as the general public, to disregard social media reports that body selection and/or medical screening will begin on Monday, October 18th, 2021.
A total of 110,000 persons applied for the position.
95,000 people were chosen for screening out of the 95,000 who applied. 15,000 people were disqualified.
Only 5000 of the 95,000 qualifying applicants will be recruited after they are shortlisted for screening.
Applicants who qualify for the next round will receive detailed instructions via text messages and/or emails, according to the Ghana Immigration Service.
This means that applicants who are chosen for the screening and aptitude test phase will receive instructions from the Ghana Immigration Service by text message or email.
We'd like to take this opportunity to remind the applicant and the broader public to ignore any false information and remain calm while the process gets underway.
