After months of speculation about an imminent appointment of the Chief Executive Officer of 3 Media Network Baba Sadiq Abdulai Abu, as Chief Executive Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, the respected entrepreneur has disclosed it cannot happen since has chosen to take another path in his career.
He expected to be named as Chief Executive Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak in the course of the year but now is not the time, since he is nursing political ambitions in the immediate term.
“I love Accra Hearts of Oak and if I am working for them I will work to the best of my attention and ability. I was expecting for it to happen around May or June, but once there is another consideration which is my political ambitions, I am sorry it cannot happen.” He told Asempa FM.
Obviously adding Accra Hearts of Oak will have a divided attention and that will not help. One time in the future when there is another opportunity I will take it up.”
Baba Sadiq Abdulai Abu indicated what could be done by the club.
“What happens on the field is very important. We need resources and there are a number of entities that will want to associate themselves with Accra Hearts of Oak.”
