Journalism is a sector whereby the communication skills of an individual is exhibited. Normally, journalism is about reporting news and what is trending in the society. In Ghana, there are countless of television stations and radio stations that can boast of competent and qualified journalists. One television station that informs, educate and entertains its audience through its great news anchors and journalists is TV3. Again, one of its news anchors that has become the talk of town because her of her competence and beauty is Ayisha Yakubu.
Ayisha Yakubu is an award winning news anchor who is highly loved and cherished by most Ghanaians. She is one of the many anchors who works in the Media General fraternity. She is the face of News 360 on TV3.
She is loved because of the way she communicates to her audience. Not only is she great at speaking, but also she is a fashionista. She dresses well and pays much attention to her attires. She always flaunts her amazing pictures on social media for her fans to admire.
She has hosted entertainment programs on Plus fm and also a segment on Viasat 1’s morning show ‘This Morning’ with Patrice Amegashie and Kokui Serlomey.
She studied Public Relations in Ghana Institute of Journalism.
Because of her hardworking and dedication towards her work as a news anchor, in 2109, she won the TV Discovery of the Year at the Radio and Television Personality Awards (RTP).
Per our checks it has come to the fore that, many Ghanaians watch the News 360 on TV3 because of her beauty and competence.
By and large, she has worked her way up the ladder to become the journalist she is today. Many a time people admire celebrities on tv, thinking it’s a one day accomplishment, but rather it’s year after year journey. One needs to learn, and understand the tenets of the art, to be able excel in the profession.
