There is this University in the Navrongo, the capital of Kassena-Nankana District in the Upper East Region of northern Ghana. This University is called C.K Tedam University of Technology and Applied Science. The C.K Tedam University of Technology and Applied Science are preparing to introduce nursing and Midwifery programmes as part of its running programmes. This was announced by the Mr. Felix Nyante, the Registrar of Nursing and Midwifery Council. He also stated that, the curricula for the programmes need to be developed to employ interactive, inclusive and innovative teaching and learning techniques.
This is good news for all the people of Navrongo. It is good news because, the Nursing and Midwifery Council said, the development will offer the opportunity for new students in Navrongo and practitioners the platform to acquire nursing and midwifery training and education.
