Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for the North Tongu constituency has awarded a midwife at the Battor Catholic Hospital with a brand new car in respect of her hard work and diligence in the hospital.
The midwife, madam Beatrice Blessing Obidieh has been acknowledged as the best and the longest-serving midwife at the facility.

Her hard work has paid her for the good services and commitment she has sacrificed to the hospital and this will motivate and encourage her colleges within and outside the facility to put up their best possible.
“I hope her sterling example and our token of appreciation will motivate other health workers posted to our district from elsewhere as in the case of Auntie Beatrice to accept their postings, stay with us, and not be fixated on seeking transfers to bigger cities,” Okudzeto Ablakwa said.

Auntie Beatrice has expressed her Joy and thank the member of parliament for the gift.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time the MP has supported the hospital.
