Investigative Journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has announced that, he has taken up a new job at the Media Foundation For West Africa (MFWA) as he now works with the Media Organization as the Editor in Chief for the Fourth Estate.
In a Facebook post on his page, the renowned journalist disclosed that, the Fourth Estate is a journalism Project by the Media Foundation For West Africa and he has been appointed as the Editor in Chief for the Project.
He further stated that, the Project will focus on investigation and in depth reporting in the areas of corruption, human rights, health, environment and journalism that is in the interest of the people.
He also stated that, the public can be assured of excellence and impactful journalism that will be in the interest of the general public.
Mannaseh started his media career with the Multi Media Group where he was a reporter for Joy FM and JoyNews, but he reportedly fell out with JoyNews due to some disagreements after his investigative piece entitled the Militia.
He also set up an online news site by name, The Ghana Report which publishing news stories in Ghana on daily basis.
He has won a lot of awards for recognition of his contribution to the media excellence in the Country.
Some of his major Investigative works include the Zoom Lion contract that uncovers some corrupt deals and also his work on the famous Ford Expedition involving Former president John Mahama and a Burkinabe Contractor in the run up to the 2016 General elections.
