Are You Thinking About Quitting Your Job? Here's Something You Should Know.

Someone once said life's a journey and the decisions we make are like objects thrown into a trampoline, they bounce back. The decisions we take are like throwing a boomerang, they come back at us.

It's okay to make bad decisions sometimes . The problem comes only when it becomes a habit. Making a lot of bad decisions means having a lot of consequences to deal with.

In this modern day with a high unemployment rate it's not easy getting a job, a well paying job for that matter. Entrepreneurship is becoming encouraged and promoted both on virtually and in real life.

Not everyone can own a business. For that matter, some of us will have to work for others.

Working comes with it's own pros and cons. We're focusing more on being an employee.

Sometimes your job may not have a lot of 'juicy' packages as incentives for you the workers despite all you go through.

It may also be that your boss gets on your nerves constantly. The conditions of service may also not be favourable. You might have even landed a better paying job.

All these and more are factors that can make you quit your job. Mind you quitting the job requires you planning. When you quit you cut off your source of income, that's if it was your sole source of income.

Let's say you quit because you had a better job offer. You might be disappointed after you quit your current job. Landing your next employment is going to be a herculean task as there would be several others, some with even better qualification looking for that same position. Don't forget that your bills don't care whether you're employed or not, your family and your stomach too would be dependent on your salary.

Before you quit your job be sure to have at least 6 months worth of expenses saved up. This should sustain you for the time being, as you hopefully start searching for another job. Till you've save up to at least 6 months' worth of expenses stay strong and be patient. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, your bills won't be paid by them.
