If You Live In The Zongo communities And You Have A Running Stomach, You Are In Trouble -Kwesi Pratt

The Challenge facing many deprived and densely populated communities in the country is inadequate places of convenience for people to ease themselves.

Attributing the unresolved problems faced by Ghanaians as a contributing factor to the high unemployment rate in the country, the Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Junior, has revealed that if you live in the Zongo communities and you have a running stomach, you are in big trouble because you have to join the queue to ease yourself.

Kwesi Pratt Junior made this statement on 'Good Morning Africa' on Pan Africa television when he suggested that when the government solves the problems of the societies, it is indirectly employing the people.

According to Kwesi Pratt Junior, the only way the government can solve the unemployment problems in the country is by solving the concrete problems that confront the citizenry.

Kwesi Pratt indicated that if you go to the many Zongo communities in Ghana, one of the major problems in those communities is access to places of convenience.

"If you live in some of the Zongo communities and you have a running stomach, you are in a big trouble, and I'm not exaggerating because at dawn, the queue of people waiting to ease themselves is long, and you have to join the queue. If you have a running stomach, how long can you join the queue?"

Kwesi Pratt revealed that this is the reason why we have the phenomenon of flying polythene bags because there are no places of convenience.

"So, if the government builds more places of convenience, it is creating jobs for the people. The government will create jobs through the process of solving the problems in the community."

Kwesi Pratt added that when we cry so much that there is unemployment in the country, we are saying in effect that the problems of the people are not being solved.
