National Teaching Council, the body tasked to bring professionalism into the teaching job wants to organise a two-day workshop for Headteachers and Information Communication Technology (ICT) teachers in the Sekyere South District of the Ashanti Region.
The impending workshop is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 14th April, and Thursday 15th April, 2021. The National Teaching Council intends to equip Headteachers and their ICT teachers with the skills of how to build a portfolio on the NTC portal.
The portfolio will serve as a personal record of the teacher. It will also contain all information about National Teaching Council (NTC) certified Continues Professional Development (CPD) courses attended by the teacher.
Teachers in the Sekyere South District are the first group to be issued with professional licences across the Middle belt of the country.
Some teachers are complaining about why some certain Continues Professional Development (CPD) providers have resorted to online or virtual workshops instead of the conventional face-to-face.
