" I don't take any salary as a Doctor now" - Okoe Boye hints

The immediate former Deputy minister for the ministry of health, Dr. Okoe Boye has said in a recent post on Facebook that he doesn't take any salary as a Consultant at the Lekma Hospital.

The out gone Mp for the ledzkoku constituency was appointed into the ministry when the "dark" days of covid 19. His relentless work helped Ghana in the fight against covid.

The former Deputy minister resumed worked weeks after losing his seat. He presumably likes consultation and has hinted that he does it for free at the Lekma Hospital in this constituency.

"Monday Consultations at the LEKMA HOSPITAL. Always a delight experiencing our Health system at the delivery level, providing an opportunity to appreciate the opportunities and threats that lie ahead. 

Although I take no salary for the service, I have been allocated greater grace from above for the effort. 

In life, you don't always have to get it right or get it your way, making the effort alone is appreciated by the Almighty . Mask up, Get up and Press on!"

This was captured on his Facebook wall on Monday noon.

It's however worth noting that, he will be back to his feet to contest to this seat in the future. He has the people at heart and will forever take any opportunity to serve again when the need arises.
