Midfielder, Richard Senanu believes Asante Kotoko could succeed in continental football if they make three key signings.
The Kotoko midfielder thinks that the squad has good quality but has identified the kind of talent needed as a complement to make us competitive next season.
After an unsuccessful Champions League campaign last season, Kotoko could be back in the competition next season as they were named as Ghana's representative following the cancellation of the 2019/2020 season as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
“We still need some couple of experienced players,” says Senanu. “We need players in the profile of Ahmed Toure, Songne Yacouba and Justice Blay," he said in an interview with Kotoko Express App.
"I would recommend only three additions to our team. I am convinced with the quality like the names I have mentioned, we can go beyond the stage we got to under CK Akonnor."
Senanu was a key member of Coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor's side as the Porcupines broke a 10-year-old record to qualify for the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup in the 2018/19 season.
