Just last week, news of the Medical Director of SDA Hospital, Kwadaso who died of COVID 19 brought shock around the nation.The President of the nation in his recent address paid a glowing tribute to this gallant and humble doctor. But just when the family was coming into terms with the sudden demise of Dr. Harry, his senior brother, Mr William Boateng also joined the land of our ancestors.
Mr. Boateng, before his demise was the Assembly Member for Oforikrom Constituency and also the Presiding member for the Assembly. This sad event happened in the early hours of Sunday, the same self day that Dr. Harry Boateng's one week celebration was held.
Mr. Boateng was described as a hardworking Assembly Member and this news came as a shock both to the electorate and his entire District Assembly workers. He was just re-elected in an inaugural ceremony in January this year.
It is now unknown whether he died out of the COVID which killed his junior brother a week ago.Indeed this week has been a trying time for the family.
