Former Chief Executive officer of Asante Kotoko has been named as the Executive Chairman for Kumasi Base King Faisal.
Amoako landed the top position after close meeting with Alhaji Karim Grusah the bankroll of the Club.
He previously worked with King Faisal during the Herbert Mensah's administration in 2003
Speaking in an interview Oyerepa Fm in Kumasi, the GFA Exco member confirms his appointment with the club.
It's true that I have been named the Executive Chairman of King Faisal FC," Amoako told Kumasi-based radio station Oyerepa FM
"I'll be running the day to day activities of the club whiles Alhaji Grunsah remains the President of the club"
''I'm grateful for the appointment and will strive to do my best for the club"
The 2019/20 season was annulled following the Coronavirus pandemic which has halted football activities in the country since March.
King Faisal were left at the bottom of the truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season after amass.
