Chief Executive officer of Legon Cities Fred Agbenyo says his outfit has conducted Covid-19 Test on all their players and Staffs.
According to him, the results of the test has all come negative for Covid-19 and they are ready to continue the league season.
"We have conducted a covid-19 test for all our players and staff and by the grace of God it all came negative" - Legon Cities CEO Fred Agbenyo told Atinka FM
"How much is $80? If we have done it, then gov't should support other clubs to test their players too" - He added
Football has been at a standstill since a national ban was placed on all public gatherings, including sporting events, as part of measures to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
The club was founded in January 2006 through investments by Kwesi Nyantakyi in Wa, Ghana.
The club used to played their home games at Wa Sports Stadiumformerly played in the Golden City Parkin Berekumbut now plays their home games at the Accra Sports Stadium.
In December 2019, the club was sold and renamed to Legon Cities.
