IT Expert in court for operating without license


A data innovation master, who is in the person of kwame Adade on Wednesday showed up under the watchful eye of an Accra Circuit Court for giving an electronic correspondence administration without permit. 


Kwame Adade, who is 51, is affirmed to have leased a spot at Premier Towers inside the Ministries enclave and introduced different electronic correspondence hardware, which he used to serve as a channel for worldwide calls through unapproved courses to Ghana. 


Moreover, Adade purportedly ended calls wrongfully and changed them into neighborhood calls with Vodafone numbers 23333026101180 and 0233302740040. 


Accused of giving electronic correspondence administration without permit, Adade argued not liable for the act. 


The Court, managed by Mrs Hellen Ofei Ayeh, conceded Adade to bail with the sum of GH¢50,000.00 with two guarantors, one to be advocated. 


The court requested documentation of its revelations inside 14 days and witness articulations inside 25 days from Wednesday, July 1. 


The issue has been dismissed to August 14. 


Detective Sergeant Thomas Sarfo portrayed that the complainant, Mr Alfred Gaise, is a Telecommunications Operator working with the National Communication Authority (NCA). 


Analyst Sergeant Sarfo said Adade dwelled at Nsawam yet in 2019 the NCA recognized that, someone was working on an illicit media transmission administration without permit.

He said the suspect was found have leased an area inside the Towers and leased a space in their server room where he had introduced different electronic correspondence gear, which he used to course universal calls through unapproved courses into Ghana. 


The examiner said Adade purportedly ended calls wrongfully and changed them into neighborhood calls with Vodafone numbers 2333026101180 and 0233302740040, and working without permit. He was thus captured and summoned.
