Armed robbers have attacked a VIP bus on the Accra-Kumasi high way.
This unfortunate incident occurred on 5th October 2020 on the Accra-Kumasi road near Linda Dor.
The incident which happened at around 1:30 at dawn involves the VIP bus full of passengers with a registration number GE 2397-10. It also has 'Yesu Dea' boldly inscribed on it.
Reports reveals that the robbers after robbing every traveler on board the bus of their personal belongings shot the driver as well.
An eyewitness narrating how the incident happened said the robbers who were hiding in the bush nearby the road rushed into the middle of the road when they saw the bus approaching and shoot the driver's side of the windscreen which got him severely injured.
The drivers condition is now critical and has been admitted in the hospital for treatment.
The robbers were able to run away before the police got to the scene.
No arrested has been made as at reporting but thorough investigations into the matter are being conducted.
