"Dr UN" Has Been Arrested By Police. (Video)

The Self-acclaimed Global Ambassador for the United Nations (UN), Kwame Fordjour, also known as ‘Dr. UN’ has been picked up by the police.

He was arrested on the forefront of Kumasi based Hello-FM by National Security operatives.

Following the last month incident, ‘Dr UN’ who is known as one of the greatest con men in Ghana's entertainment history, was in the news for all the wrong reasons.

He described himself as a ‘diplomat’ and ‘global ambassador’, with a doctorate that is unquestionable as his personality. Mr. Fordjour successfully scammed on a large and never before experienced in the country.

pretending to be partnering with the United Nations and the valued legacy of the late Dr Kofi Annan, he organized an awards ceremony and presented awards and citations to over 20 high ranking Ghanaian personalities who he described as having attained greater heights.

He therefore presents himself as one of the biggest fraudsters in Ghana's history.

According to a report by PeaceFM’s correspondent and HelloFM’s General Manager, Samson K. Nyamekye, ‘Dr. UN’ has been on the wanted list of the security agencies for quite some time now, after organizing a fake award ceremony in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.

He was arrested after it was confirmed that the award scheme which was organized in 2018 was fake. He was granted a bill.

The court subsequently issued an arrest warrant after he flouted his bail conditions.

when news went out that Kwame Fordjour was in the studios of Hello FM, National Security operatives surrounded the place to effect his arrest.

‘Dr UN’ has been remanded for 14 days According to Samson Nyamkeye.
