Where did it happen?
Adugyama, a town in the Ahafo Ano District in the Ashanti region. The town is located on the Kumasi-Sunyani highway, and it is often seen as a gateway to the city of Kumasi.
How many robbers?
There were allegedly 6 robbers. They divided themselves into the teams of two each; one team at one end of the town, the second team watching out from the Sunyani end, and the third team actually doing the robbery.
Was anyone killed?
No. This was confirm on Kesben FM this morning that no one was killed. The robbers did engage in sporadic shooting but no one died.
Where was the police?
Out of coverage area. News reports suggests that police numbers in Ahafo Ano District is woefully inadequate to effectively man security in the area. Exactly a week ago another group of robbers attacked the same town.
This robbery case adds to the growing numbers in the Ashanti region lately.
