Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service for Police Memorial week To The Fallen Heroes

A thanksgiving service has been held at St George Catholic Church, National Police Training School, Accra to climax Police Memorial Week celebration. The service was officiated by all Clergy and Imam of the Police Service, with ACP/Very Rev. Frank Twum Baah, Chaplain of the Police Church 37 moderating.

In a sermon titled “How and When Will I Be Called By My Maker?”, DCOP Very Rev. Fr. George Arthur, reminded mankind that we have a life span on earth; each moment must be lived with the view of making positive impact on humanity.

“Serving Police officers like our Fallen Heroes, did not know when and how the Lord will call them. Therefore, we must reflect and act right in dealing with all persons in all we do”, he said. He also urged police officers to put their political differences aside and work with professionalism in the upcoming elections.

The ceremony was graced by members of the Police Management Board, retired officers, senior and junior rank officers from different departments and units.
