Video: An STC Bus Burnt Down By An Alleged Secessionists Group In Volta Region

A few people suspected to be individuals with a secessionist group have assaulted a State Transport Organization transport in the Volta Local Capital, Ho, and consumed one of its transports. 

As indicated by a Citi News report, the occurrence which happened at 12 PM on Monday, September 28, included the individuals from the gathering discharging shots before continuing to whip the drivers. 

There is right now a substantial security presence at the scene. 

This most recent episode comes only days after about 31 speculates affirmed to be secessionists were remanded by an Accra Circuit Court into BNI care for about fourteen days. 

They are confronting five temporary charges including intrigue to go to a disallowed gathering, unlawful assembling and revolting. 

They allegedly argued not liable when they showed up under the steady gaze of the Accra Circuit Court Two on Monday September 28. 

They are being arraigned on the temporary charges of trick to go to a gathering of a denied association; unlawful get-together; gathering under a precluded name and association; and revolting. 

The arraignment, driven by ASP Sylvester Asare, requested that the court remand the blamed people into authority to consider further examinations concerning the Friday occurrence. 

He contended that the police were constrained by law to introduce the charged under the watchful eye of the court knowing very well that the court needed purview since the occurrence happened in the Volta area.
