The King of Ashanti, Otumfour Osei Tutu II today buried the mortal remains of family head of the Ayoko clan of Kumasi.
Clad in all black all round throughout the burial ceremony by Asante Hene and his subjects.
The royalty of Asante culture was at its pinnacle during the week, when Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll held a burial ceremony for Abusuapayin of the Oyoko clan of Kumasi, Barima Kusi Ankrah, and his uncle Barimah Yaw Poku.
The four-day burial service, which began on Monday and ended yesterday on the forecourt of the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi, was a success.
The thanksgiving service will take place at St. Anne's Anglican Church, Ashanti New Town at 9am on Sunday 24th, 2021.
