Deborah Owusu-Bonsu who is well known by her professional name Sister Derby is a Ghanaian television presenter, musician, model, television show host and also known to create her own dresses most of the time.
Sister Derby call herself the African Mermaid. She is a graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Publishing Studies from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Derby went ahead to acquire her Masters Degree in Book/Journal Publishing from the University of the Arts London.
She is a very controversial lady known for her bluntness, never afraid to speak up or say her mind just like her brother who is also in the industry, I mean the Ghana hip life musician Wanlov the Kubolor.
The LGBT talk going on in Ghana presently has been a very dicey one. Sister Derby is part of the many supporting the movement. She has been back lashed and Insulted, but it doesn't move her.
On one of her Instagram post today, she posted a dance video where two foreigners were dancing to her song 'Chocolate', a follower Blasted her for supporting the LGBT. She gave her own reply by saying that same gender union doesn't harm anyone, neither does it mean stealing:
A whole lot of others attacked her on the post and she equally replied them accordingly. Your view please?
