The hacklab foundation is an international non- profit organization, which helps the youth prepare for future digital jobs in technology and skill development.
The foundation hosts a series of boot camps, hackathons, mentorship, job placement and among others which they believe will help the youth.
This includes developers, designers, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders who bring ideas and creative ways to solve critical issues emerging in economies.
With Ghana and the rest of the world still facing the coronavirus pandemic, this year Hackathon 2021 took place virtually over the weekend.
Team Zetta from Ashesi university emerged overall winners and took home scholarships, Grants, souvenirs from Vodafone and a cash prize of 5000 Ghana cedis.
Second place “URC” won best AI solution in Internet Of Things(IOT). They took home scholarships, grants and souvenirs from Vodafone.
A total of eight Awards were won by various teams from across Africa and beyond.
