You can complete your SIM card(s) biometric registration without needing to wait in huge lines at MTN Service Centres.
To alleviate the long lines and inconvenience, MTN has implemented the Self Service System, which allows customers to complete the biometric registration of their SIM card (s) from the comfort of their homes or offices.
You should have already linked your SIM card (s) to your Ghana Card at this point. If you haven't already, dial *400# to connect your Ghana Card to your SIM Card.
After that, take these steps to complete the biometric registration of your SIM Card(s) on your phone.
Scan or photograph the front page of your Ghana Card.
Take a picture of your Ghana Card with your face visible in an image file.
Please visit the following website: https://simregistrationupdate.mtn.com.gh
Enter your cell phone number.
A one-time passcode will be sent to your phone number (O.T.P)
Continue by entering the MTN OTP into the registration portal.
It will be validated, and you will be led to the records page, where you can view your personal information.
Fill in all of your details and upload a photo of yourself carrying your Ghana Card in the applicable places.
Once all of the fields have been filled out, click Submit to finish the procedure.
