The effect of some social platforms like the "tiktok"

Now at days many people do this tiktok which has bad effect on peoples. Though tiktok is fun and exiting for both the young and the old rich and the poor. TikTok (pronounced tick-tock) is an application with approximately 800 million active users worldwide. Of these users, around 40 percent are between the ages of 14 to 24. Many parents feel a responsibility to understand the dangers of social media and teach their children.

Some effect of tiktok are:

1. It can break into your privacy. Some people in Ghana now use tiktok to hack peoples phone because tiktok people don't read the terms and conditions of tiktok. Please to avoid any distraction don't login to Tiktok on a public computer such as company computer, school's computer, etc.

2. Danger #2: Data mining, selling, and storage

The first concern many users (and parents of young users) have about TikTok is the way data is stored and potentially shared. ... And the more data they have, the more money they can make. This makes a strong incentive to aggressively gather as much data as possible.

However, TikTok is often accused of taking things too far, posing serious security and privacy risks to its users.

That led both private companies and US government departments to ban their employees from installing and using the app on their work devices. And Amazon was one of the first companies to issue the ban to workers, although they soon retracted their decision. But the financial services company, Wells Fargo, didn’t.
