Already, GES placed a ban on the usage of mobile phones on campuses of various schools because of the illegal activities some students do with the phone. I.e, Watching pornographic movies and exotic videos, Recording unnecessary short videos and posting them on various social media handles, Watching telenovelas that hinder the students from their studies, and many more.
At a meeting held by the GES executives and some other senior high school representatives, the students told the GES that they really need the phone in other to help them do their researches and other stuff.
So in conclusion, the GES made it known that they will be providing each SHS student with a tablet. The further said that teachers of these qualified schools will also get a Laptop each.
The phone would be a customized phone by the GES. It can't use a sim card, other websites will also be blocked on the device so students won't be able to access them.
