Calls from people attempting to steal your money, personal information, or financial data are all too popular, especially with the mobile money field in Ghana.

A fake call, on the other hand, isn't always easy to spot. Scammers are getting better at what they do, and they're focused on "quality over quantity." Scammers increase the likelihood of you answering your phone by using more advanced techniques, such as calling from a familiar number.

Scammers also use the numbers game, ringing hundreds or thousands of people each day before they reach the right user. The following are some easy signs that show that you are talking to a scammer:

1.Delay in greeting: If you pick up the phone and the person on the other end doesn't answer right away, it's likely that the person is a scammer. Scammers make a lot of calls in the hopes that someone will pick up, and when one picks up, it takes a long time for them to respond. It may be a sign that you are talking to a scammer on phone.

2. Caller will there is a problem with your account: This is another sign of talking to a scammer. If they say there's an issue with your mobile money account or credit product or service, but you don't have any issue, you've been approached by a scammer. You may be perplexed at first, wondering if it's for your different account you've forgotten about. Don't fall for the ruse. This may be a sign of talking to scammers on phone.

3.The talk takes on a more heated tone: To detect a scammer, the person you're interacting with may seem regular at first, and you won't think something is wrong. However, when something seems wrong and you inquire about the meaning of the call, the so-called representative becomes irritated. It's a form of intimidation.A sign of talking to a scammer on phone, be careful.
