The Structure of the Internet and How the Internet Work

Many, get confuse with what the internet and what the web is. Others, also interchange the internet with web, by saying they browse the internet, instead of saying they browse the web. 

The internet was first envisioned by Joseph Carl Robnett Licklider, an American psychologist and computer scientist who is considered one of the most important figures in computer science and general computing history.

Due to his envision commination project, known today as the, internet. Joseph Carl Robnett Licklider was appointed to be the first head of the computer research program at DARPA, an agency of the US Department of Defense, responsible for the development of emerging technologies to be used by the military.

With the support of Licklider DARPA invented the internet in 1962, was to be used mainly by the military, for its communication.

But, later the decision was reviewed and the internet project got declassified, in order to be accessed by all, which as a result we all now have access to the internet. 

The internet is categorized in four parts, namely the

1 “SURFACE WEB,”

2 “Deep Web”

3 “Dark Web”

4 “Dark net”.
