What the top 5 richest men in the world think about sleep time(long or short)

A few weeks ago,the son of Business man Kennedy Osei was in the news for urging people to sleep more. This did not go down well for a lot of people on social media. Some asked whether his father would have been this rich,if he slept so much as Kennedy sort to suggest.Research shows that, averagely,an adult has to sleep for 7 to 8 hours per night for a healthy body and mind.Sleep affects how our body functions daily, it affects our physical and mental health. For a man to get rich,he needs to work hard or smart. For a man to work,he needs to be strong physically and mentally, and science has proven that, sleep helps the body to develop in those areas. Here are some thoughts from the top five richest men in the world about sleep.

Jeff Bezos who is the current richest man on earth has a positive perception about sleep."Eight hours of sleep makes a big difference for me,and I try hard to make that a priority " he said. This shows the 57 year old CEO of Amazon sees sleep as important as any other activity that brings him money.

Elon Musk who is the CEO of Tesla seems to agree with Jeff on the importance of sleep in boosting productivity. He said on quote,"I sleep for about 6 hours a night.I tried less but total productivity decreases".Co founder of Microsoft,Bill Gates, who has a net worth of 126.7 billion USD also wrote on his blog,"I know I wasn't as sharp when I was operating mostly on caffeine and adrenaline but I was obsessed with my work and felt that sleeping was lazy".The 67 year old had a change of mind after reading a book called 'why we sleep'by Mathew Walker. He wrote on his blog"Walker taught me a lot about this basic activity that every person on earth needs".The CEO and co founder of Mark Zuckerberg who is also the youngest among the top 5 richest men in the world, currently sits 5th on the list with a net worth of 119.7 billion USD,built a device called sleep box for his wife, who's sleeping pattern was affected after giving birth.the device which was engineered to omit a very faint light in the morning hours between 6 to 7 am,let's his wife know its time to get up,therefore, waking up from time to time in the night to check the clock was dealt with.Being startled by the alarm clock in the morning was also taken care of by this amazing invention. This helped Mrs Gates to have a good night's sleep all the time.

Now you know what the rich in society thinks about sleep.Sleep is not for the lazy as we usually think.Sleep is actually good for hard working people. But if you over sleep, you don't want to be like any of these men.
