The Ankobea Hene of Chunderi (Nana Okoegye) called for a meeting on the 8th of April, 2021 to share ideas on how to get the Chunderi Market which halted or ceized to operate during and after the Covid 19 lockdown.
Messages were given to opinion leaders of the various towns and villages in the District to send two delegates each to represent each town and village.
The meeting got started at exactly 10:00 a.m. at Chunderi on the premises of the Nana Ankobea Hene.
The Market Chairman, gave account on how the Market in its previous times were opened, managed, challenges faced and the need to reopen it again.
They ended up taking opinions from each and every one present on how and when to start the market and on which day should it always be observed.
Opinions and suggestions were made and finally went into agreement to reopen the Market and put measures for all citizens to make good use of the opportunity.
The meeting was finally rescheduled to the 19th of April, 2021 which is today at exactly 9: 00 a.m. on the premises of Nana Okoegye.
Nana Okoegye entreated each and every to make it a point be there to help fulfil that agender.
