Several engagements have been made between the two parties to restore power as soon as possible so as to mitigate the already caused adverse effects.
The MCE for Lower Manya Krobo, Hon.Simon Kweku Tetteh and other party faithfuls in the early hours of Sunday, 14 / 08 / 22 around 11.30 am went for inspection at the ongoing Kpong Substation aimed at restoring light to the Krobo area.
It was revealed that Works began yesterday (13 / 8 / 22) in the morning and ended late in the night at around 11.45pm. The team of engineers again started from where they ended yesterday but suffered a setback midway through the exercise.
One of the bulk suppliers suffered a huge blast which nearly killed one of the engineer's in the process.
Beyond this unfortunate happening, the team of engineers have resolved to continue with the necessary engineering works with the hope to restore light to the Krobo area.
The MCE, humbly, entreats all to be patient as efforts are being made to get the lights back in the shortest possible time.
