The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has served note to clients on its pay as you go metering device that the problem with the 3rd party merchandising factors has been resolved.
The energy distributor in a declaration said, “clients can now buy electricity credits from their nearest merchandising factors, and all ECG District offices, such as the following day Sunday, 2nd October 2022 from 9.00 am – 4.00 pm.”
It similarly confident clients that it is “running assiduously to repair the Power App for an advanced and seamless carrier provision.”
Many ECG clients had for some days struggled to purchase credit on their pay as you go meters, either through using the ECG App or from merchandising outlets.
The scenario left some affected clients stranded, whilst some agencies have additionally taken a hit.
Following lawsuits from clients, ECG prolonged running hours at all district offices.
