The only people that Ghanaians think about when they are looking for the richest people are men. Whenever you think of the list of richest people in Ghana, the names that come to mind are all male. Names like Dr Kwaku Oteng, Osei Kwame Despite, Ibrahim Mahama, Kennedy Agyapong and others are those we generally regard as the richest in Ghana. But we are always wrong for mentioning those names alone forgetting there are some women out there loaded with a lot of wealth.

4. Kate Quartey Papafio

In the fourth position, have Kate Quartet Papfio. Kate Quartey Papfio is the CEO of Reroy Group, a cable company founded in 1992. Her company was the first cable manufacturer in the ECOWAS region. Kate's net worth is estimated to be US$250 million.

3. Rebecca Akufo-Addo

The third richest woman in Ghana is found to be Rebecca Akufo-Addo. Rebecca Akufo-Addo is the wife of the current president of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for that matter she is the current First Lady of Ghana.

She is also the founder of the Rebecca Akufo-Addo Foundation, founded in 2017 to enhance government efforts to support Ghanaian women and children. Her net worth is estimated to be US$350 million.

2. Theresa Oppong-Beeko

Theresa Oppong-Beeko is the second on the list of top richest women in Ghana. She is the CEO of real estate giants Manet group. Manet constructs commercial and residential properties and is probably the most recognisable name in real estate in Ghana. Theresa Oppong-Beeko's net worth is estimated to be US$420 million.

1. Patricia Poku-Diaby

Number one on the list is Patricia Poku-Diaby. Patricia Poku-Diaby is the richest woman in Ghana. She is the founder and CEO of Plot Enterprise Group, a cocoa processing company in Ghana.

Plot Enterprise Group processes and manufactures natural and alkalized cocoa liquor, natural cocoa butter, natural and alkalized cocoa cake and natural cocoa powder from Ghana. She has about US$600 million as her net worth.
