“The economy will bounce back”- Akufo-Addo assures Ghanaians

The President of the Republic of Ghana , Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has guaranteed the overall population that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government will attempt to restore and rejuvenate the economy.

He emphasized that the NPP government will work indefatigably to return the country on the way of quick monetary development.

Tending to senior residents at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC), at the Founders' Day lunch get-together to pay tribute to senior residents, on Thursday 4 August 2022, Akufo Addo referenced that since the fulfillment of freedom quite a while back, we have lamented the way that our country has not leaved up to its huge potential.

"Since the achievement of freedom quite a while back, we have wailed over the way that our country has not leaved up to its tremendous potential and nations, particularly those in south east Asia, for example, Korea and Malaysia which acquired their freedom simultaneously as we had exceeded us regarding improvement," he said.

Mr Akufo-Addo added "despite the numerous snags that we have needed to conquer including drag out times of shakiness and military rule, energized by a few rebellions, one thing I keep on being pleased with is the can do soul of the Ghanaian and out assurance not to be withdrew by occasions and permit the conditions and difficulties of today to shape our aggregate future.
