President Nana Addo-Dankwah NPP Government promised to protect the Nation's, Financial Purse. However, many are disappointed with how things have been mismanaged with some writing letters to the IMF to decline Ghana's request for a bailout.
The Democratic Forum, a research body has written to the International Monetary Fund to refuse the government of Ghana any incentives because many funds which the leaders received were not put to proper use. 

According to the executive director Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the quantum of monies received from international donors could have transformed the country into a better one. However, it wasn't judiciously used for that matter the 3 billion IMF wants to give as aid will amount to nothing.
The gentleman proposed alternatives that instead of granting the government a loan they should rather Provide technical support to the government and they must hold them accountable for the IMF $2 billion covid funds received.
