Suame Interchange project to start in October – MCE

The Suame Municipal Chief Executive, Maxwell Ofosu Boakye, says development of the Suame Interchange project in the Ashanti district is booked to begin in October this year.

He says it has begun a course of eliminating property sitting on differentiated regions for the exchange project.

"We would need to have a site, which incorporates the people who have inherent street reservations. In this way, we need to claim those destinations. We need to begin denoting those regions.

"We need to make them mindful to make them realize they need to clear a path for the development. So that will occur in the following one and a half months," said Mr Boakye.

Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, during the 2022 spending plan show in parliament, unveiled that the Suame modern territory and different regions inside the Greater Kumasi Metropolis will have trades.

This is to ease vehicular clog inside the city.

The yet-to-be-built Suame exchange will be the second four-level trade project in the country.

Mr Ofosu Boakye further demonstrated proprietors of brief constructions along street reservations should empty when presented with takes note.

As indicated by the MCE, proprietors who neglect to consent would have their properties stopped, which accompanies an expense for recovery.

"Assuming that you are on a street reservation, I don't think we need to migrate you, particularly assuming you are in a compartment, you should realize the license given to you is transitory.

"Assuming that you're selling a vehicle in a street reservation, you should track down a spot yourself. The get-together won't search for a spot for you."

"When the markings start, we give you a date to clear the street reservations. Assuming you neglect to agree constantly we give you, the get-together or work for hire will eliminate them. Whenever that is done, it will include some significant downfalls. That implies you should pay to retake your properties," he said.
