In Ghana, the rise of fuel prices affect all sectors in the economy which eventually brings about inflation. Any government that focuses much on ensuring stability in fuel prices is classified to be a good manager of the economy.
There has been an increase in the price of diesel per litre from 6 cedis 85 pesewas to 7 cedis 05 pesewas on Sunday January 16.
The price of Petrol has also been increased from 6 cedis 80 pesewas to 6 cedis 99 pesewas per litre. Fuel prices has been going up for the past few months.
Kevin Taylor, the CEO of Loud Silence Media has reacted to the sudden increase in fuel prices on Sunday.
According to Kevin Taylor, the increment of fuel prices is an achievement of the President and also his vice. He added that, the prices of a litre of fuel is likely to increase to ¢10 by December, 2022.
Kevin Taylor is always known to be bashing out the government over what he call as 'poor managers' of the economy. He believes that, the former government did better than the NPP government and he will do anything possible to make them do the right thing.
