GCB Informs Customers Of Illegitimacy Of Recent Allegations

The Ghana Commercial Bank has served a notice to customers concerning the recent allegations level against them.

In a recent notice to customers, the bank indicated that management's attention has been drawn to some allegations in line with conflict of interest, corruption and abuse of office.

The notice provided to customers and other stakeholders, indicated the allegations leveled against them by the Good Governance Advocacy Group(GGAG) on various platforms are false and should be treated as such by its customers, stakeholders and the public.

The bank also informed customers that, it will take the appropriate steps including legal actions, to make sure it protects its brand and reputation as a prestigious bank in Ghana.

GCB added that, in its quest to perform its fiduciary function, it remains committed and law-abiding to the rules and regulations of the Bank Of Ghana, and other legal agencies.

The bank made it clear that all decisions taken by the board is grounded in law, and conventions that reflects best practices of the industry.

They assured stakeholders, customers and the public of their aim to position the bank as a dominant player within the Ghanaian banking sector.
