Recently, some Ghanaians have been complaining on social media platforms about how they are 'drowning' in poverty and hardship. Some of them have been lamenting that, living in Ghana have become too expensive more than they can handle.
And these complaints have led to the establishment of the #fixthecoutry campaign where Ghanaians use this slogan to call out the government to work hard and at least improve the living conditions of the normal citizens.
Today, when I was browsing through my phone I came across a statement that made me laugh and sad at the same. I can't explain the feeling, but I can say, that statement made me understand a lot of things.
In the statement, the user wrote, "We are tired of Ghana and how you guys are managing the country. Please if you can speak to the president, tell him to sell the country and share the money to the citizens".
This hilarious post came after the Ministry of Information announced that, the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo is currently in Paris, France, attending a summit.
This statement made me wonder if some people are really going through more hardship than usual.
Below is the screenshot of the statement to confirm the authenticity of this article.
