This is undoubtably another bad news that has hit Ghana and Ghanaians, after the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) revealed what will be happening to everything Ghanaians purchase. Life during this coronavirus pandemic era has not been as before, things is getting complicated in so many aspect and the prayer of millions of people is to get things back to normal. However, it is heartbreaking that another sad news has hit the country, Ghana.
However, it was noted that due to the 1% levy imposed on the Covid’19 treatment the price of everything Ghanaians purchase will experience increase in price. This is obviously a big bad news for the residents of the country and for the country as well, while a lot of people are still struggling to overcome and bounce back front the loss they had during the hot time of Covid’19.
There comes another increments in price of daily essential needs, and Ghanaians are seriously not happy with the current happening. So many reactions has call on concerned authorities to consider the decision, because it was said that the effect will mainly be on consumers i.e Ghanaians and they have pleaded for the decision to be reversed. But as it looks now, it is obvious that nothing can be done about this sudden bad news.
